With us working in schools and colleges, we always come across different materials that are stored away for that little job that never comes up.
Now, this is the section where you can try those ideas out, if they work, share them here, which is all part of Sustainability in it’s rawest form. Timber, cardboard, scrap metal, the works, if you think it might work, try it, test it, then share it with all of us here.

Here’s a start, with all the timber I have collected from building jobs, contract work going on, I don’t let anything go, so we are looking at making Bird houses and bird tables out of our excess timber, again do a nice job, sell them cheaply, and return that money back into your project fund, it will surprise you how quickly it will mount up and people asking for more, give it a try, what have you got to lose.
We are looking at funding a plastic shedder so as to make our own plastic sheets for D.T. which work out quite expensive and would open up great colour selection and help with our huge amount of plastic we recycle for others to use.
At £3,700 its a tall order but one that we think would be put to great use college wide.
